Born and raised in Los Angeles, Mike Live officially started radio at 17-years-old. He was introduced to the radio business by Manny Streetz on 102.7 Kiis Fm. Mike landed his first job at Clear Channel's KHHT Hot92Jamz (92.3fm in 2002 Street Team Promotions) He then became a board operator and show producer for The Baka Boyz for 93.5 Kday. Mike’s goal oriented Kobe Mentality led him On-Air Monday - Friday 7pm-11pm on 93.5 Kday.

 Furthering his career, Mike then became a Production/Imaging Director at Hot975 in Las Vegas. While filling in for full time hosts, he hosted a show on the Las Vegas Strip at Hot97.5 fm weekends. After 2 years in Las Vegas Nevada, Mike took a job as a Production Director for Blazin' 989 MEC Networks in San Diego, CA.  As a former Imaging Assistant at 102.7 Kiis Fm & 98.7 fm in Los Angeles, he imaged production for shows: Ryan Seacrest AT40 Show, On-Air w/Ryan Seacrest Mornings, JoJo On The Radio, 98.7fm, and several independent podcasts. In his later career, Mike became a Producer for NBC Sports Radio. A few highlights for ML included press for the L.A. Lakers for 2 years for NBCSR,Kobe Bryant's farewell season and Pre fight press conference for Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao.

Mike started programming a three hour Classic Rock format for the syndicated news talk program called, "The Norman Goldman Show" from 2015 till 2019. Currently, Mike Live is the host of the weekly podcast via MikeLiveLA.com - Music & Talk Show. He also is currently assisting the relaunch of The Tolucan Times in Toluca Lake.
